Baby Shower fun!

I am a party thrower.
I love everything about it. From creating the invites, to planning the food, to setting up all the decorations, to interacting with the guests. I even love the messes after the parties because it indicates that people got to enjoy yummy food, delicious drinks, and each other's company. I love tailoring parties to whom the party is being thrown. Party throwing is a way I get to communicate to those I love just how special they are and how much they are worth celebrating. It's also a way to meet those I haven't met but love the throwee just as much as I do. I love that!
I believe that people are worth celebrating and celebrating big. I don't really "go all out" with much, but throwing parties, that's when it gets good and I allow the extra special details to happen.

I recently got to throw a little baby shower for one of my dearest friends.
We've known each other for eight years {Kinzi, holy cow! EIGHT years!} and have been the inseparable kind of friends for six of those years. The first two years were both of us knowing each other from a distance and being intimidated by each other. Then we joined staff with Cru the same year  and became instant bests.

Kinzi, it was so fun for all of us to celebrate you and your hubby and your sweet baby boy. You are a dear friend to me and you're going to make one incredible mama.

Here's a recap of the fun:

{Isn't she beautiful?!}

{I got these adorable straws from The Dandelion Design.}

{How cute are these?! The women did such an amazing job!}

{I found this window in an alleyway, hosed it off & bam! Decoration.}

Raise your trendy mason jars to celebrations, dear friends and new friends coming together, and the beauty of new life!
